Our Mission
PewScore™ was created to solve a problem every competitive USPSA shooter faces: how do you know if you're actually improving between classification updates?
Your USPSA classification updates every Wednesday morning, but only from certified classifier stages. What about the 90% of matches you actually shoot? Those club matches where you're working on your skills, testing new techniques, and pushing yourself to improve?
We believe every match should count. Every stage should tell you something about your progress. That's why we built PewScore™.
Built by Shooters, for Shooters
We're competitive USPSA shooters who got tired of waiting for Wednesday mornings to see if our weekend performance moved the needle. We wanted daily feedback. We wanted to know if we were improving week-over-week, not just quarter-over-quarter.
So we built a system that uses proven chess ELO mathematics, adapted specifically for practical shooting competition. Every match updates your rating. Every performance gives you feedback. Every stage counts.
Why ELO?
The ELO rating system has been used in chess for decades because it works. It's fair, it's transparent, and it accurately reflects skill progression over time. We've adapted this proven system for USPSA competition, accounting for match size, competition level, and performance variability.
Your PewScore™ ELO rating updates after every match—club, sectional, national, or world shoot. All matches count. All performance matters.
Privacy & Data
We use only publicly available match results. We don't sell your data. We don't share your information. We're shooters who built a tool for shooters, not a data company masquerading as a shooting app.
